Who we are

What personal data we collect

Depending on how you use this site, we may collect:

• Your name and email address, when you sign up for a free mini-course, subscribe to our newsletter, or purchase a course

• Payment information, when you make a purchase — this is handled directly by our payment processors (Stripe and PayPal); we do not see or store your full card details

• Messages you send us, if you contact us directly (for example, by email or Instagram)

• Basic technical data (such as browser type and pages visited), collected automatically through standard website analytics

Why we use your data

• To deliver the course or content you've requested

• To send you the emails you've signed up for — course access, watercolor tips, and updates about paid courses — based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time

• To process payments and fulfil your order

• To respond to questions or support requests

• To meet our own legal and accounting obligations (for example, invoicing records)

 

Lawful basis

We process your personal data under the following legal bases, as set out in the GDPR:

• Performance of a contract with you (for example, delivering a course you've purchased)

• Compliance with our legal obligations (for example, Norwegian accounting law)

• Our legitimate interests, where these don't override your rights and freedoms

 

Who we share it with

 

We don't sell your personal data. To run this business, we work with a small number of trusted service providers who process data on our behalf:

• Mailchimp — email delivery and list management (privacy policy)

• Stripe and PayPal — payment processing (Stripe, PayPal)

• Wix — website hosting (privacy policy)

• Thinkific — course hosting and delivery

• InstantDM — Instagram comment and DM automation, via Meta's official messaging API

• Fiken — accounting and invoicing (Norway)

Some of these providers are based outside the EU/EEA, including the United States and Canada. Where that's the case, they provide appropriate safeguards for your data, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain our accounting records as required by Norwegian law, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever is relevant.

 

Your rights

• Restrict or object to certain processing

• Receive your data in a portable format
