Who this is for
Give your guests something to remember
A live watercolor session ties itself to this place in a way most amenities don't. Guests leave with something they painted themselves — a joyful hour, and proof of where they were when they made it — which is exactly the kind of memory that brings someone back.
Whether it's an intimate session for a handful of guests, a full property event, or something you'd like to offer through the season — what you're looking for is an artist who arrives fully prepared, works around your team's schedule, and delivers an experience guests actually remember.
Something authentic, not generic
Guests increasingly notice — and remember — activities that feel local and handmade, not templated.
Flexible for any size
An intimate group in a lounge, or a full property event for up to 30 — the format adapts to you.
Nothing for your team to manage
Materials, setup, and guidance are all handled. Your staff show up to enjoy it too, if they'd like.
Format overview

What people say
From workshops held in different cities, across different years — the response has been the same
I met Katerina at one of her workshops in Oslo, and by the end of the day I knew I wanted more than just that one session — I became her private student soon after, and we painted together for a year. She has this rare way of teaching that's structured enough that you always know your next stepand I went from a complete beginner to someone who genuinely can't imagine life without watercolor now. Katerina opened a door for me I don't think I'll ever close.

I finally learned how to paint transparent flowers, and honestly, the workshop was inspiring in a way I didn't expect. I didn't think I could paint that well — it genuinely surprised me. And because it happened during my vacation in Spain, it's become something more than just a technique I learned. It's a memory I get to keep, right alongside the painting itself.

Why Katerina
About the artist
Katerina Kolberg
Watercolor artist and workshop host — painting live since 2017
I've always been drawn to art, but I trained first as an architect, earning my diploma before watercolor became my focus. As my technique deepened over the years, teaching followed naturally — in 2017, I led my first watercolor workshop in Oslo. Since then, hundreds of students have painted alongside me.
My architecture background still shows in how I teach: with structure. Every step is explained clearly, so guests always know exactly what to do next — steady progress, no hesitation, no blank page in front of them. That same clarity later led to an invitation to teach on Domestika, and to launching two courses of my own — but nowhere does it matter more than in the room, guiding someone through their very first brushstroke.
Watercolor is unforgiving and unrepeatable — no two pieces are ever quite the same. That unpredictability is exactly what makes it capture a feeling so precisely: guests don't just leave with a painting, they leave with the memory of that afternoon, held in their own hand
